Same patriots with a different QB

You could see a win coming Sunday afternoon. It was almost in sight, and you might have already planned your postgame party. What we did not want to believe was that we could still be defeated without their captain.

As you are watching the game, this is turning from intense to ugly, and you’re just left there wondering what just happened. The defense played with intensity and fire, while our offense played like a mediocre high school team.

What you should all know is not to give this loss to much importance, because there are still 14 games left in the season. We can still turn this thing around, and storm Casstle’s patriots.

JETS WEEK WON

I first read the ESPN breakdown of the Jets-Dolphins,  http://games.espn.go.com/frontpage/breakdown?matchup=3 and it was something very complicated:

Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre. Brett Favre.”

After this game, the headline for Favre’s Jets should be Efficient Efficient Efficient Efficient Efficient …

That was the one word that should be used to describe the Jets offense. Favre put out 194 yards of 2 Touchdown ball, and no interceptions. Sure maybe you were expecting three hundred pass yards or more, but what’s wrong with no turnovers as well? Favre played great, and the main thing is that HE DID NOT FORCE ANYTHING. It all came naturally, and the offense looked cohesive for the most part.

Once Coles gets in on the act, this Jet offense can really take off

2/4 Pre-season: Favre Debut

Is it just me or is Brett Favre being a little to humble? Espn and every sportsite tagged the quote from Brett Favre, ”10 days ago I was doing yardwork” Brett kept telling reporters about how his arm was fatigued and that he was an old 38 year old man who needed time to warm up. What’s scary is that no twenty five year old in the league can throw like Brett Favre, nevertheless a tired one.

This guy on the first play of the game fired an eleven yard scorcher to Cotchery, and it went smoothly for the rest of his two drives( except the one sac of course)

Cotchery though was not done though, because Favre decided to throw a 19 yard strike right onto Washington’s 20 yard line. Favre started training camp barely a week ago, and he racked up a 138.8 passer rating.

This guy is a beast, and when healthy he is going to turn into, well, just the same OLD Brett Favre.

Week 1 showdown Favre vs. Pennington

When you first look at the schedule you see Dolphins and think instant win, but it had to happen that Chad Pennington became the starter for the dolphins, and that we play him week 1.

Sure it’s easy to say we’re much better than Pennington, Chad has a weak arm and all that, but what do you think Chad might think coming week 1? This team he played for for 8 years suddenly cut him for an aging superstar, and don’t you think he’d be eager to prove his doubters wrong?

It’s true the Dolphins WR core is weak and their offense is mediocre, but week 1 Chad might have a little extra in the tank for the Jets. You should expect a close showdown on week 1.

Would You Like Brett Favre On The Jets?

It’s time to bring some life to the Jets organization.

This site is dedicated to bringing Brett Favre to the New York Jets.  Whether or not you agree I’d like to know!

With a revamped offensive line and an improved defense, Favre gives the Jets a great chance to make it to the playoffs, and possibly make a run.

First lets get the cost out of the way.  We could probably get Favre for a #2 pick in next year’s draft.  Yes, a number 2 is a lot, but we’re talking about Brett Favre!  And an angry, determined Brett Favre at that.  A Favre in the same division as Tom Brady, a Favre in the same city as Eli Manning…

The man can play.  Remember his numbers from last year?
4115 Yds, 28TDs, 15INTs.

He’s better than Chad (who is a great player) and Kellen…and lets face it, he’ll be the best quarterback (OR PLAYER) that we’ve had since Joe Namath.

There are 2 teams in New York, the Giants and the Jets.

The Jets have always been second class, even before the Giants won the championship.

Favre will be a shot of adrenaline.  The Jets will be on national TV again, Jerseys would sell, season ticket sales would rise…all for a 2nd round draft pick!   Besides, when has the best player in NY been a Jet??

Bottom line, Favre is exciting!  He’s an upgrade in countless ways…come to the Jets Brett!

Do you agree?  Please leave a comment and let me know…
